Subscribe to our Community Calendar

Google Calendar

  1. On the left-hand dashboard of your Google Calendar, click the “+” next to other calendars .

  2. Select Subscribe to calendar.

  3. Enter info@climatechangemakers.org, then hit return. You can modify your notification settings.

Apple iCal

  1. From the File menu select New Calendar Subscription

  2. Copy/paste this link into the Calendar URL field, then click subscribe.

  3. Optional: Change name and colors

  4. Click the Location drop-down menu, then choose an account for the subscription

    • If you choose your iCloud account, the calendar is available on all your computers and devices that are set up with iCloud

    • If you choose On My Mac, the calendar is saved on your computer

  5. Important: Update the Auto-refresh frequency to Every day (important!), then click OK.

To unsubscribe to an iCalendar feed using Apple's Calendar program:

  1. Control-click the calendar in the calendar list, then choose Unsubscribe. If you don’t see the calendar list on the left, choose View > Show Calendar List.

Microsoft Outlook 2010+

NOTE: Outlook 2010+ for Mac OS does not support CalDav, and so cannot subscribe to our remote feed. The directions below pertain to using Outlook on Windows.

  1. Open Outlook

  2. Switch to Calendar “mode”

  3. Click the Home tab on the Ribbon

  4. Under Manage Calendars, click on Add Calendar \ From Internet

  5. Copy/paste this URL into the New Internet Calendar field, then click OK. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/info%40climatechangemakers.org/public/basic.ics

  6. Click Yes when prompted to verify that you want to subscribe to the calendar.

Microsoft Outlook 2007

  1. From Tools menu select Account Settings.

  2. Click on the Internet Calendars tab.

  3. Click New, then copy/paste this URL and click Add. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/info%40climatechangemakers.org/public/basic.ics

  4. In the Subscription Options dialog box, you can opt to rename the calendar (make sure the box is checked in the Update Limit section).

Yahoo! Calendar

  1. In Yahoo Mail, click the Calendar icon, and select Calendar full view.

  2. In the Calendars column, click the Manage Followed Calendars icon next to Following or the gear icon next to Others

  3. Select Follow Other Calendars

  4. Enter a name for the calendar, and copy/paste this URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/info%40climatechangemakers.org/public/basic.ics

  5. Select a color for the calendar

  6. Select Refresh and Remind options, then click Save

Mozilla Lightning

Lightning is a calendar plugin for the email client Mozilla Thunderbird. 

  1. From the File menu in Thunderbird select New -> Calendar

  2. Choose On the Network and click Next

  3. Choose iCalendar format and copy/paste this URL in Location, then click Next. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/info%40climatechangemakers.org/public/basic.ics

  4. Optionally, change the Name, Color and notification option, then click Next and then Finish

  5. Set the refresh frequency to once or twice a day in Tools->Options->Lightning->General->Refresh Settings.
