To get bold climate policies passed, we need to turn out as many pro-climate voters as possible.
During the 2020 election and 2022 midterms, we helped increase voter turnout in key districts—and we watched pretty phenomenal results roll in. Congress does more than pass bills. It controls federal spending, approves the president’s nominations, and leads committees. Boosting the climate vote means increasing the likelihood of pro-climate majorities in Congress and state legislatures.
With the election season over (for now!) we’re fully focused on advocating for climate policies. Climate Changemakers prioritizes timely, science-backed climate policies where we, as a community of climate advocates, can make a difference and use our time most productively. Learn more here!
*Cheers* to all the changemakers who wrote letters and called environmentalist voters, knocked on doors, spread the word on social media, and more! Civic engagement is cool and contagious, and you made the climate movement a driving force in the 2022 midterms.
