Contact Your County Officials

County governments are poised to lead on climate, but they can often use an extra push toward action or help with executing their climate vision.

County officials often have a lower public profile than, say, your mayor, but they’re in charge of much of the infrastructure that touches your daily life, giving them a great deal of power to reduce emissions and prepare for a climate-resilient future. They’re also highly accessible, meaning you can have an outsized influence over local climate policy when you reach out to them directly.
